How to quickly replace the lithium battery of an electric forklift
At present, electric forklifts have quickly occupied the domestic and foreign forklift markets with their many advantages. Energy saving, environmental protection, convenient operation and low maintenance cost. Driven by new energy and emission reduction policies, it will gradually replace fuel forklifts in most areas. When our old forklift batteries reach the upper end of their useful life, the usage time and battery life are shortened. In order not to affect and delay the work efficiency, we must replace a new set of forklift batteries.
So, after purchasing the right forklift battery, how do you fit it into the forklift battery case? Do different makes and models of forklifts change the battery the same way? What is the easiest way? What tools are needed? The loading and unloading of forklift batteries can be divided into two ways, one is to lift up and down, and the other is to move left and right. Another working forklift and 1/2 sling can do all the replacement steps.
- Turn the electric forklift key switch to the “OFF” position to turn off the power of the forklift;
- Push the steering wheel tilt lever all the way forward to prevent the forklift from sliding during battery replacement;
- After removing all debris from the driver’s seat and rear cover of the forklift truck, open the battery cover of the forklift truck.
- Unplug the power connector between the battery and the forklift, and disconnect the power completely;
- For battery models with a battery cover, the cover must be opened to expose the battery cable;
- For battery models with battery compartment retaining screws, remove the screws to make the battery compartment removable.
- Use hooks to hook the hanging holes on both ends of the battery (two lanyards may be required depending on the weight of the battery), lift the battery and place it on a flat surface;
- Lift the new battery with the hook, then put it into the forklift battery box smoothly, install the battery box fixing screw, or fill the gap with the fixture, and then check again whether the battery is installed correctly.
- Insert the power connector, close the battery compartment cover and the forklift battery cover, and then start the forklift normally.
